My love for dance all started from the age of 3, watching television and seeing a ballerina on pointe shoes dancing on stage. From that moment I decided I wanted to learn to dance.
Soon after, I started my first lessons at Delayne School of Dance being taught by Elaine Storey, who is now a well known examiner for the IDTA. At the age of 6 I started dancing with The Martinicca Theatre School studying the IDTA syllabus specialising in Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz.
I always dreamt of being a dance teacher and running my own dance school.
I believe that dancing should be fun and enjoyable but also requires teaching of the correct techniques, balance and rhythm so that the children can perform with confidence and enjoy every moment of being a performer - just like I did.
Sinead Ferry is our STAR pupil of the month for June 2017!
Sinead has shown a huge sense of motivation and is really keen to learn all her routines for this years show!
She is putting 100% effort in and is really focussed. Sinead has been a great example to the other pupils at the dance school!
Well done and keep up the great work!
