My love for dance all started from the age of 3, watching television and seeing a ballerina on pointe shoes dancing on stage. From that moment I decided I wanted to learn to dance.
Soon after, I started my first lessons at Delayne School of Dance being taught by Elaine Storey, who is now a well known examiner for the IDTA. At the age of 6 I started dancing with The Martinicca Theatre School studying the IDTA syllabus specialising in Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz.
I always dreamt of being a dance teacher and running my own dance school.
I believe that dancing should be fun and enjoyable but also requires teaching of the correct techniques, balance and rhythm so that the children can perform with confidence and enjoy every moment of being a performer - just like I did.
George Sheridan is our STAR pupil of the month for August 2017!
George has performed fantastically in our show this year and has shown just how sensible and grown up he can be back stage getting changed and waiting for his turn to perform his next dance!
We're looking forward to seeing that 100% effort in and class when we come back from our summer break!
Well done and keep up the great work!
